The Guides
The idea behind these guides is to create books of basic information and encouragement to go do many of the great hikes and walks in the regions we visit. Be it a geographic region, like this guide, or a state or larger region. We’re currently starting work on a guide about the covered bridges of New Hampshire and Vermont. We are committed to providing a product that is valuable to both the vacationer or the local. The book is useful, fun and full of beautiful photographs that make it a pleasure to leaf through. As lovers of old maps, where we can, we will include older style and even hand drawn maps and try to give some descriptions of the sometimes hard-to-find, parking areas. At the end of each section we even bring you some fun little anecdotes on the walks and hikes, we call that... The world according to Gibbs.
